Fighting between the Syrian regular troops and pro-regime militiamen, on one hand, and the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), on the other, in the eastern governorate of Deir Azzor resulted in 19 ISIL deaths.
The deaths include seven foreign ISIL members and 12 Syrians, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Monday.
The clashes took place in the farms located to the east of Deir Azzor airbase and near the northeast of the rocket battalion which was restored to the regime's control.
The regime and the loyal militias suffered a yet-to-be-specified number of casualties, according to the report.
In the southern Daraa Governorate the regular troops killed 13 opposition fighters, including an Islamist field commander and a media man.
The Syrian Air Force launched three attacks on the northern city of Aleppo where at least five civilians were killed and several other wounded; the casualties include children and women.
Similar air raids on Talbiseh district, to the north of the central city of Homs, claimed seven civilian lives.
