Syrian opposition fighters launched an attacked near the Damascus International Airport on Tuesday.
The Syrian Revolutionary Command Council said the opposition brigades targeted the airport road in rural Damascus with mortar shells.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Air Force continued its attacks on Doma, Jober and Daria districts in rural Damascus.
Also, the opposition fighters seized control of the city of Sheikh Miskin in Syria's southern province of Daraa.
