Now when it comes to haircare, I am probably the most laziest person ever. I do not kid. And that probably shows in the frizziness and lack of lustre. With my fine thin hair, it becomes difficult to find products that can both volumise and hydrate my hair at the same time, hence why I tend to have quite dry hair. On top of that, the fact that I do not use heat on my hair whatsoever (over two years and going strong), it really does not make my hair look or feel nice or smooth. That's where this miracle product comes into it... I have tried and tested this Black Seed Oil hair product for a while now, and I have been absolutely loving it as a pre-shower mask. It does so well at really hydrating and softening the hair without feeling greasy or weighed down after shower. I keep it on for around 30-40 mins and put my hair in a shower cap to keep the heat and moisture trapped in my hair. My hair is always really dry and frizzy therefore I still apply conditioner after shampooing my hair, but honestly, if your hair isn't too badly damaged/dry, then there is no need to apply conditioner as this will make your hair soft enough. Now to go through the five points this oil claims to do (as stated on the packaging above): (i). Softening Action - guaranteed. This oil 100% makes my hair feel so much softer and smoother since the first time I used it. And I know when a product really works when it can make my hair soft on my natural unheated hair (which is majority of the time never super soft). (ii). Intense Natural Shine - I slightly agree with this. It doesn't make my hair super silky and shiny, honestly I don't think any product ever will. But it does add a little extra shine than usual. (iii). Untangling Action - Don't agree. This product doesn't do anything whatsoever to untangle the hair. It is an oil, not some untangling contraption. (iv). Restores Beauty to Hair - I would agree as it makes my hair softer like it should be, and will definitely help restore damaged hair from excessive heat use. (v). Restores Hair and Damaged Ends - I am the queen of split ends (that's what you get for not getting regular trims Tahmina). This definitely helps nourish those dry and damaged ends which I'm sure majority of us have, it works wonders. My only major con about this is the smell. It really does not smell pleasant. Don't know what it smells of but it isn't great. That being said, I am willing to continue using it as it is such a affordable product that is 100% natural and works wonders on your hair! Honestly, I am really impressed! Rating: 9/10 Recommend: Yes Repurchase: Yes Follow @tamiinu_x www.tamiinu.blogspot.co.uk
