The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) announced the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of Education for the inclusion of a curriculum on quality in the general education curricula.
Dr. Saad Al-Qasabi, SASO governor, during a press conference on Thursday announced the details of the 6th National Quality Conference organized by Minister of Trade and Investment and chairman of the board Dr. Majed Al-Qassabi.
The SASO governor indicated that the commission has received 200 applications for participation in the King Abdul Aziz Award for Quality in the fourth session this year.
Al-Qasabi explained the participation of a group of international and local experts in the field of quality. He said they want to exchange experiences and enhance the practical reality of quality activities through the review of successful international and regional experiences.
“This year’s conference addresses quality and its role in achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision initiatives, quality as a competitive advantage, and modern trends in quality,” said Saud Al-Askar, SASO deputy governor for quality and conformity.
