The number of people killed Monday in air strikes on a market in a rebel-held town in northern Syria has risen to 53, a monitor said, revising an earlier toll of 29.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it was not immediately clear if Syrian warplanes or those of Damascus's ally Russia were responsible for the raids on the town of Atareb in Aleppo province.
