Jordan Investment Commission President (JIC), Thabet Al Wir, Wednesday said the commission has received lucrative offers to invest in Jordan from various countries, especially from Saudi Arabia.
Welcoming industrial sector businesspeople, Al Wir said the recent royal visit to Saudi Arabia and UAE had paid off as the Kingdom received "unprecedented investment offers" in several vital economic domains.
He added that the JIC is now in the process of studying the "priorities and feasibility" of those offers, particularly those related to the services, education, medical supplies, agricultural, packaging and industry sectors.
The JIC is concerned with engaging representatives of the industrial sector in drawing visions, developing plans and strategies related to the investment process, in order to promote investment in the industrial cities, Al Wir noted.
