12-kg TNT bomb behind Abbasiya church blast

The blast that ripped through the Boutrosiya Church in Abbasiya was caused by a 12-kilogram highly-explosive TNT bomb, security source told MENA.
Initial inspection by sappers found that a massive improvised explosive device was behind the deadly blast in Boutrosiya Church, right next to the St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral.
At least 20 people were killed and 35 more injured by Sunday's blast.
