Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz announced the launching of the first cultural, sports and entertainment City in Al-Qadiyeh area southwest of Riyadh ,covering an area of 334 square kilometers and a great Safari area . He added that this project is a part of “Saudi vision 2030” ,which will become a prominent cultural landmark and an important center to fulfill the different needs of the future generations in Saudi Arabia. It will also contribute in diversifying national incomes ,creating more jobs opportunities for the youth. He believes that this project ,which is scheduled to start its construction in 2018 ,will be a unique shift ,helping the kingdom to achieve its vision for the future and upgrading the services quality in Riyadh in order to be among the top 100 best cities to live in across the world. He confirmed that this city will become the visitors’ first choice for its different activities which were selected carefully and designed according to international standards to live the best entertainment experience ever . He also expected that this project will achieve great social and economic gains ,as he described it as the best entertainment destination which provides different choices that will attract families and friends ,through unique sports activities that will motivate young people to excel in regional and international competitions , along with developing their talents in different fields . The city will also provide more spaces for nature lovers through open air activities ,and will support motor racing lovers to perform their sports in a safe way in secure race tracks . Al-Qadiyeh project consists of 4 main groups : entertainment ,motor racing, sports and housing ,and the project is provided with perfect and diverse atmospheres of water and nature adventures, along with car racing all the year ,sports competitions ,and virtual reality games. The city will also contain a serial of sophisticated restaurants and hotels with magical views to insure more comfort for the visitors .
