The crisis of Haifa Wehbe and producer Mohammed al-Sobky provoked a wide debate during, the last period, on the art scene, after withdrawing from his last film "One Second" for moral reasons.
In spite of al-Sobky's attempts to convince her to return, all his attempts were unsuccessful. This led him to file a complaint in actor syndicate because she failed to complete filming his new film "One Second", in addition to her cooperation with his brother Ahmed al-Sobky and appearance with him as a guest of honor in "Khair We Baraka" film.
The committee of wise men, represented in the head of acting professions, actor Ashraf Zaki, and film industry's chamber, ordered Haifa to refund the value of her and to bear the cost of only two days of filming.
Haifa Wehbe's spokesman, Mohamed Waziri, revealed in a special statement to Muslimchronicle, that the decision of the committee to refund the contract and bear the cost of filming two days. He confirmed that Haifa Wehbe will not cooperate with al-Sobky again. He denied rumors that Haifa had been fined, saying it had not paid any fines outside the committee's decision.
Waziri explained that al-Sobky was angry with the committee's decision, especially that he wanted to stop her for two years and prevent her from acting in Egypt.
Informed source, close to the producer Mohammed al-Sobky, told Muslimchronicle that the reason for the escalation of the crisis and the withdrawal of Haifa because insulting her by the producer. "So, Haifa decided to withdraw and declare that the reason is moral, and apologized to the team for completing the participation," the source said.
The source denied that the withdrawal of Haifa as a result of changing the directors or asking for amendments in the scenario.On the other hand, Haifa agreed to appear with the producer Ahmad al-Sobky to emphasize that she is not at odds with al-Sobky family, but only with Mohammed, and her cooperation with his brother is due to mutual respect between them.
