Health Minister Faeqa Saeed Al Saleh received MP Jamal Bu Hassan to discuss various health dossiers including citizens' healthcare needs as well as the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Health and members of parliament (MPs).
The minister said the ministry always welcomed all incoming remarks received from the public which were also followed up by all ministry officials and the ministry immediately considered them.
The meeting discussed the anticipated opening of the new oncology centre at the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) and training of new physicians reaffirming the ministry's keenness on the quality of compulsory training provided to all health workers before any permit to practice the medical profession can be issued in compliance with the terms and conditions set by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA).
