President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Monday inaugurated the new Medical Supply Stores which the biggest one in Africa which was established at the cost of 174 million pounds.
He also inaugurated Abdul-Hamid Ibrahim Training Center which is composed of four lecture halls.
The Director of the National Medical Supply Fund, Dr. Jamal Khalafalla, said that the new stores which were inaugurated by the President of the Republic are aimed for increasing the medicines storage capacity in the country.
He said that the new medicines stores have helped increasing the storage capacity from 23,000 cubic meters to 46,000 cubic meters.
Dr. Khalafalla indicated that the new stores were designed and established in compliance with the international standards for storing medicines.
He said that Abdul-Hamid Ibrahim Training Center will be a nucleus for qualifying pharmacists and the employees who are working in the medicines field.
