Zayed Giving Initiative has launched Emirates Specialised Medical Voluntary Programme 2017 to allow specialist medical staff from different nationalities to participate actively in humanitarian tasks of the programme, locally and globally, to alleviate the suffering of the needy sick children and elderly.
Dr. Adel Shamri, CEO of Zayed Giving Initiative, said, "The Zayed Giving Initiative since its launch in 2000, has been keen to adopt a specialised voluntary initiatives."
He added the programme offers opportunities for volunteer medical staff, locally and internationally, and aims to establish voluntary work culture in the service of humanity. The volunteers will receive training in the field of recovery, injuries, emergency and intensive care in accordance with the best international standards, Dr. Al Shamri said.
