Number of people who joined yesterday to the convoy of the Martyrs of the Syrian Revolution has increased as nine civilians were killed during attack from the regime forces. In Daraa province, a fighter of a rebel faction was killed after being shot by unknown gunmen yesterday in Al-Yadudah town in the western countryside of Daraa.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from a number of reliable sources that the son of the leader of Nusra Front (Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham) in Qalamoun and Arsal, was assassinated in Idlib countryside, and the sources confirmed that Abu Malik Al-Telli’s son was killed after being shot by unknown gunmen, in the countryside of Idlib city, while he was traveling on one of the roads within the area.
While a fighter of a rebel faction died affected by the injury he had in shelling and clashes against the fighters of Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed in Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa. In the same context, the regime forces target areas in Al-Rastan city in the northern countryside of Homs by heavy machineguns, which caused material damage, without information about casualties. Areas in Al-Hara town in the north-western countryside of Daraa were shelled by the regime forces, which resulted in the injury of some people some of them have seriously wounded, as well as causing material damage to the property of the citizens.
Sources learned that the shelling resulted in the death of a woman and a child, as well as the injury of other persons, It is noteworthy that Al-Hara town has witnessed calmness since the last shelling on it by the regime forces in the 25th September 2017, and this shelling is added to a series of violations in Daraa, Al-Quneitra and Al-Suwaidaa provinces, to the Russian – American – Jordanian truce, which has been put in effect in the 9th of July 2017 in the Syrian South.
The clashes are continuing in the north-eastern countryside of Hama between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces managed to take the control of more residential communities that were cleared earlier after they were controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, after the later took the control of areas in the north-eastern countryside of Hama after its surprising attack on them, and the clashes are accompanied by the continuation of shelling by the regime forces on the area, without information about casualties until now.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the administration of Faysh Khabur border crossing with Kurdistan region of Iraq, of the self-democratic administration of Al-Jazeera district, has temporarily closed the crossing, as a result of the military operations which are taking place in the side opposite the Syrian – Iraqi border, between the Iraqi forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces against the Kurdish forces ((Peshmerga)), and the crossing administration said that the crossing of the humanitarian cases through Faysh Khabur border crossing was stopped, and the crossing administration justified that it took such decision due to “the complicated and unstable situation in Faysh Khabur crossing” and it will be carried out from the 28th of October 2017.
