His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at X. The meeting took place on the sidelines of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s official visit to Washington DC.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince underscored the kingdoms’ joint commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties across all levels
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince highlighted the role of His Majesty King Hamad and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in further supporting the longstanding and comprehensive ties between the two nations
His Royal Highness went on to note the leading role His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Minister of Defense, plays in developing KSA's economy through the adoption of strategies aimed at enhancing KSA's global reach
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince went on to note Bahrain’s high regard for Saudi Arabia and its pioneering role in combatting terrorism, supporting regional security and upholding values of peace and prosperity
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the Ambassador then discussed opportunities to advance bilateral and international cooperation to counter terrorism and extremist ideologies. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince emphasised the integral role the Ambassador plays in developing and reinforcing these ties
In response, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and expressed appreciation for His Royal Highness’ support to further strengthening bilateral ties.
