Under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s patronage, the Labour and Social Development Ministry will tomorrow morning hold the 33rd ceremony to honour hard-working workers and outstanding establishments in the private sector.
The honouree list includes four prominent pioneers, four outstanding establishments, a small enterprise, 11 outstanding administrators, two supporters of persons with disability, two workers with special needs and four workers in the irregular economy.
Other honourees represent the sectors of oil and gas (6), manufacturing industries (14), transportation and stores (9), banking, finance and insurance (7), contracting sector (8), trade (24), hospitality, restaurants and hotels ( 5), social activities (8) and others (9).
Eight workers from the professions that have recently attracted the national workforce will also be honoured.
The annual honouring ceremony is part of the kingdom’s celebration of the Anniversary of HM King Hamad’s Accession to the Throne and the glorious National Day.
