
Speaker of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) Roger Nkodo Dang voiced appreciation to the Egyptian leadership, parliament and government for their efforts exerted to organize celebrations with the passage of 150 years since the establishment of the Egyptian Parliament.
The political adviser to the PAP speaker Moustafa el Gendy told MENA that Nkodo Dang is in ongoing contact with Egypt's Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal and he made sure that the preparations are carried out for the event which will be attended by international political and parliamentarian figures besides 250 African parliamentarians as well as Arab and African parliament speakers.
El Gendy further reiterated that Nkodo Dang carried out intensified contacts to invite international figures to attend the celebrations to make the world know that democracy is deeply-rooted in Africa.
