Southern Governor opens exhibition

Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, has stressed the governorate’s keenness on supporting all initiatives aimed at fostering religious values and the tolerant precepts of Islam among youngsters.

He pointed out that the Southern Governorate is always keen on instilling the correct Islamic principles in various social groups during all religious occasions.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali made the statements as he opened the "My Prophet the Light of my Life" Exhibition, organised by the Bahrain Society for Women Development (BSWD) marking Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)’s anniversary.

Upon arrival, the governor was welcomed by the BSWD Chairperson, Shaikha Lobna bint Abdulla Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali toured the exhibition and expressed admiration for the information and values included in it, noting that the method used strengthens interaction among exhibitors and visitors.

He lauded the idea of the exhibition, and commended the efforts exerted by Shaikha Lobna, BSWD and the event’s organisers.

HH Shaikha Lobna expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to the governor for supporting initiatives and charity programmes aimed at serving the Islamic Religion, the nation and citizens across the Southern Governorate.
