Egyptian actor Ahmed Falwkas expressed his pleasure of the great success that his new series “The Godfather” achieves, saying that he received positive reactions to his role in the new TV drama show currently presented on satellite channels. He said, “Thanks God for the great success I managed to achieve during this series.”
He added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that he was nominated for the role by the production company, adding that he agreed to take the role immediately after reading the scenario. He described the role as a turning point in his career. He added that he does not give priority to the length of the role while to its value.
He stressed that he prepared for the role, saying that it was exhausting. He stressed that the personality he performed during the series has a large number of details. He praised the new experience as it provided him with an opportunity to stand before Egyptian superstar Mahmoud Hemida. He added that Hemida’s presence in the series was one of the major reasons behind his acceptance to take the role.
He added, “It was one of my aspirations to stand before this great actor. I consider him as my real godfather. I had a previous dream to act before Adel Imam and I achieve this dream before during my participation in “The Fortune Teller”
He stressed his keenness to diversify his roles during the coming period, adding that he gives priority to diversification of his roles to meet the aspirations of his fans. He added that the actor should not repeat the role he previously performed.
He added that he participates currently in a new TV drama show entitled “Access Denied”, saying that it discusses the conflict between families and businesspersons during the period before January 25 Revolution. He added that he prepares currently for filming a new cinema movie entitled “53 Minutes”.
He added that the film was scheduled to be led by Egyptian superstar Ahmed Ezz, while he apologized, as he is preoccupied in filming his new film “The Cell”.
