Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan met Wednesday with Jordanian Ambassador in Cairo Ali al Ayed to discuss problems of Egyptians working in Jordan.
Saafan was pleased that his Jordanian counterpart Ali al Ghazawi agreed to extend a deadline to legalize the status of Egyptian workers.
This should serve the best interests of both parties of the production process, Saafan said.
He asked the diplomat to outline a mechanism to send Egyptian workers to Jordan.
An electronic connection can very well be established between the manpower ministries here and in Jordan, Saafan suggested.
