
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has held a meeting with Pan-African Parliament President Roger Nkodo Dang in the presence of Egypt's parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal to discuss the latest developments in African.
During the meeting, President Sisi said that Egypt has placed Africa as top priority for the country's foreign policy, said Spokesman for the Presidency Alaa yousef.
Egypt is keen on communicating with all African countries and actively taking part in the African parliament activities, mainly after the convocation of the Egyptian parliament.
President Sisi praised a role played by the African parliament, a legislative army of the African Union.
President Sisi called for concerted efforts to face common challenges in Africa, mainly the widening circle of terrorism.
Dang congratulated Sisi on the convocation of the Egyptian parliament, praising Egypt's efforts to bring about stability and security into the country.
He pointed out that Egypt exerted efforts to push forward the African development and achieve peace and stability in the continent.
He also appreciated the Egyptian role in defending the continent interests during climate summit in France.
