The Abu Dhabi City Municipality recently held a workshop with strategic partners under the theme, "Developing relationship with strategic partners - Abu Dhabi Public Services Company (Musanada)." The workshop aimed to cement the existing partnership to overcome challenges and difficulties in line with the aspirations of the community and the requirements of comprehensive development witnessed by Abu Dhabi city at all levels. The workshop also intended to identify the best methods to achieve the highest levels of coordination and integration between Abu Dhabi City Municipality and Musanada Company.
In his opening speech, Hameed Rashid Al Derai, Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Management Sector, emphasised the municipality’s keenness to further relations with strategic partners. It echoes the municipality’s mission that call for providing world-class and customer-centric services by effectively participating in steering the development drive in society as a whole.
"The workshop held in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Public Services Company was meant to enhance the distinguished partnership and cooperation between the two parties, stabilise and clarify understandings, as well as communication channels. It is part of the two parties’ efforts to prop up strategic partnerships that contribute to implementing Abu Dhabi Strategic Plan and the Municipality’s Strategy aimed to uplift performance in all fronts," Al Derai added.
In addition, the workshop reviewed the challenges facing each of Infrastructure Sector, Programme Implementation Monitoring Office, and Support and Municipal Services Sector, in order to figure out appropriate solutions and proposals to address these difficulties and challenges. The municipality highlighted its strong keenness to bolster cooperation with all partners in the public and private sectors, and take appropriate measures to provide the best services to the community. The workshop also comes in the context of the Municipality's drive to provide high quality service facilities, and catchy infrastructure to keep pace with the urban development and the desired progress.
