The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has received a financial donation from the Armed Forces Cooperative Society to fund its local projects, as part of their partnership to serve the local community.
The donation cheque was presented by a delegation from the society at the Foundation’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The donation from the society of retired military veterans was made due to the Foundation’s numerous community partnerships with many institutions and companies around the country, which aims to contribute to humanitarian projects both inside and outside the UAE. The Foundation also aims to help vulnerable, poor and disabled people.
Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, Director-General of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, thanked the administration of the Armed Forces Cooperative Society for their humanitarian gesture, and for supporting the Foundation’s project that will benefit poor and vulnerable people. He also urged all companies and institutions in the UAE to follow the same humanitarian approach, to promote partnerships between the business and humanitarian sectors.
