Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa visited several Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) armed battalions and divisions.
The BDF commander-in-chief was briefed about the progress in modernization programmes, combat and administrative readiness and developmental plans. He was also briefed about the internal and external training programmes and the phase of their implementation and the extent of preparations and training.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa toured the military, administrative and technical facilities, and inspected the weapons systems and equipment. He instructed the commanders regarding the importance of boosting the level of combat and administrative preparedness and the need to boost the training and development of all servicemen in their respective stations.
He praised the advanced level of combat and administrative readiness and high morale affirming it was undoubtedly the outcome of the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa The Supreme Commander.
The BDF commander-in-chief said that with God's grace and the care of His Majesty the King and Supreme Commander, the BDF will continue to equip its divisions and units with the most advanced weapons and to boost the staff combat readiness to protect the Kingdom's achievements and remain the invincible shield of the nation.
