Regulating intra-Arab goods traffic in addition to a host of other economic issues are on top of discussions at the Arab Economic-Social Council's Economic Committee meeting which started in the Arab League premises here on Monday.
The committee meeting, where the UAE Ministry of Economy is represented by Mohamed Saleh Shalwah, Advisor to the Minister of the Economy, also addressed the best ways of facilitating intra-Arab maritime trade as well as preparations for the Riyadh Summit, due in March 2018.
Discussions also include a follow-up of the economic decisions taken during the Africa-Arab Summit held in Malabo in November 2016.
The committee's decisions will be referred to the Wednesday meeting which will group together the top executives of the Economic-Social Council.
