The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, is continuing to provide relief assistance to low-income families in Shabwa Governorate, Yemen, by distributing 4,000 food baskets, as part of its latest efforts to improve the living and economic conditions of local people.
Mohammed Saif Al Muhairi, Head of the ERC Team in Shabwa, stated that the ERC is keen to continue its efforts to improve the living conditions of the local population, through humanitarian relief and development projects.
Al Muhairi added that the ERC has responded to the urgent appeals of local authorities for necessary humanitarian intervention, to alleviate the suffering of poor families in the region. He also praised their co-operation in helping the organisation to reach the people who are most in need.
