ERC distributes 1,000 food baskets in Azzan, Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Monday distributed 1,000 food baskets to people in need of assistance in Azzan district of the Yemeni governorate of Shabwa.
Mohammed Al Muhairi, Head of the ERC team in Shabwa, said the aid is part of the UAE's campaign to provide relief materials and food aid to the people of Yemen, in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the UAE and the ERC for their efforts in alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
