The underprivileged families in Amran area of the Yemeni Governorate of Aden, on Saturday, received Eid sacrifices from the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, as part of the 'Zayed Legacy to Support Yemeni People' campaign on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Mohammed Al Ketbi, Director of the ERC in Aden, said the Eid assistance is part of the UAE's humanitarian programme to assist Yemenis as per the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Launched on 16th August, the campaign aims to provide Eid sacrifices and clothing, as well as gifts and cash, until the third day of Eid, in the various Yemeni governorates.
The families of martyrs and those injured expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the UAE’s leadership, the government and the people for supporting them and bringing joy on the auspicious occasion.
