The campaign comes in line with the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the Yemeni people and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to stand by the bereaved families in appreciation of the sacrifices they have offered for the homeland.
The initiative, to continue until the third day of Eid al-Adha, will provide the families with various kinds of support, including Eid clothing, gifts for children, food baskets, and cash, along with vouchers to purchase necessities.
The ERC team based here reiterated that the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people to protect the independence of their homeland, its sovereignty and legitimate government are invaluable and they deserve all the efforts made to assuage their suffering under the untold circumstances they are going through.
