The Global Campaign Against the Qatari Financing of Terrorism (GCAQFT) has exposed Qatar's desperate attempts to justify its crimes and financing of terror.
This came during a joint press conference the GCAQFT held with the Arab Organisation for Human Rights in UK (AOHR) in Vienna on Saturday.
GCAQFT revealed that Doha made futile attempts to justify the crimes committed as a result of its finance of terrorism, either through its official National Human Rights Committee of Qatar, chaired by Ali bin Smaikh Al-Marri, the Geneva-based Al Karama Foundation for Human Rights and its Chairman, the Qatari national Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, a designated global terrorist by the United States, or through Qatar-financed Afdi International and its chairman Abdul Majeed Marrari, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization.
GCAQFT discussed during the press conference, legal means to get compensations for the families of victims of the Qatar-financed terrorism. An international commission of legal experts, human rights activists and medical doctors, submitted a report about violations committed, following acts of terror financed by Qatar. The commission compiled the report after visiting a number of countries and holding meetings with the victims of terror.
Abdul Rahman Nawfal, Head of the AOHR, said the steps taken recently complement the outcome of the conference held in Cairo on 26th July to discuss providing legal aid to the victims of terrorist operations. The conference was organised by the Egyptian Human Rights Organisation and the Arab Federation for Human Rights.
