Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Abdullatif Al-Ajeimi has got acquainted with the preparations and arrangements for holding the Agriculture and Food Security Forum, which is scheduled to be organized by the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the Ministries of International Cooperation, Social Security, Industry and Finance in the coming days.
The minister, during presiding over the preparatory meeting of the forum at his office Wednesday, appreciated the idea of the forum, pointing out that the forum comes within the ministry's plans to use technology development and integration of roles to achieve sustainable development.
The State Minister at the Ministry of International Cooperation Sumaya O'kud said that the forum was one of the ten most important forums concerned with the briefing of partners and donors in the development and humanitarian field and focusing on national policies in various relevant issues as well as the discussion of projects and programs and following of their implementation in accordance with a unified vision of coordination.
