Implementation of online mandatory submission of Omanisation plans in Muscat Governorate, will be started by the Ministry of Manpower on Sunday.
The implementation for other governorates will follow.
This service will enable employers to register details of their Omanisation plans for appointment of citizens.
The Omanisation plan includes details of professions, qualifications, details of wages (basic and allowances), place of work and required number of employees as per the controls applicable to the private sector establishments and companies.
The employer shall have the right to amend or cancel the Omanisation plan before submission to the Labour Department where the establishment
is located.
The number of applications received during the trial period of submission stood at 283 applications by 197 establishments of which 85 applications have been approved, 37 are under review, 12 rejected, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Manpower.
Further 149 applications required amendments, the statistics showed.
