Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas welcomed the agreement reached between Fatah and Hamas in Cairo to end the Palestinian divisions.
President Abbas saluted the deal which put an end to Palestinian rifts, adding that he had directed the delegation representing Fatah Movement to sign the deal immediately.
Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh announced early today that the two movements had reached an agreement mediated by Egypt.
The two Palestinian factions held two sessions of reconciliation talks in Cairo and reached the agreement to end divisions.
