UAE proud of mothers of martyrs: Mohamed bin Zayed

H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is proud of the mothers of its martyrs, as they are honourable role models for Emirati daughters, because of their sacrifice and loyalty to the nation.

He made his statement while receiving several mothers of martyrs and citizens representing various national institutions, which was held the Sea Palace on Emirati Women's Day.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed added that the mothers of martyrs have shown the nation the finest example, and have taught it valuable lessons in love and sacrifice.

"The daughters of the nation have undertaken the most important roles in many vital fields and sectors, by contributing to the efforts of development and the renaissance of our dear nation, due to the care and attention accorded to Emirati women, since the time of the late founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who gave them his attention and encouraged them to carry out their duties, and assigned their roles," he further added.
