Israeli authorities said Sunday an attempt to smuggle commercial multicopter drones into Gaza was foiled, The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday. The drones were earmarked for use by Palestinian factions in Gaza to gather intelligence on the Israeli army's movements, the Israeli authorities said. The inspectors stopped an Israeli truck carrying toys at the Karam Abu Salem Crossing, where drones of various types and sizes carrying high quality cameras were found, the paper reported. Additional attempts to smuggle commercial drones were intercepted by the Shin Bet in recent weeks, it added. Source:
