Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa has mourned the late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal, former Saudi Foreign Minister, who passed away Thursday, July 9.
In a statement to Bahrain TV, the deputy premier expressed deep sorrow and regret over the sad demise of the late prince, lauding his high moral qualities, modesty, far-sightedness and wisdom.
He lauded the deceased’s dedication in serving his country, and championing the just causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
The deputy prime minister paid tribute to the late HH Prince Saud Al-Faisal for supporting the kingdom in all fields.
"The Kingdom of Bahrain will never forget his bold stances and remarkable contributions in supporting its just causes," he said, citing the deceased’s role in establishing the King Fahad Causeway and launching the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak offered sincere condolences and consolation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Defence Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He also offered condolences to the deceased’s brothers, grandsons, members of the Al-Saud Family, the Saudi people and the Arab and Islamic nations, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace.
