PNC: UNSC resolution collective condemnation of settlement, occupation

The Palestinian National Council has welcomed the UN Security Council resolution which condemned all forms of Israeli settlement building on occupied Palestinian territories including East Jerusalem.

In a statement issued on Saturday, PNC considered the UNSC resolution a collective condemnation of Israeli occupation policies against the Palestinian people and their territories and a positive change in their struggle to attain freedom and independence.

The Amman-based PNC, which is chaired by Selim Zanoun, said Palestinians have been waiting for such resolution long time ago, adding that Israeli racist policies and oppression have violated all international laws and legitimacy.

Issuance of such resolution highlighted the Palestinians' inalienable rights to establish their independent State on their usurped lands and a mass condemnation of all policies of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people it added.
