As part of Reno’s Artown, The Ballroom of Reno is offering six 30-minute free group dance classes and a special donation-based performance, on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 2 – 6 pm. Each lesson will begin with a narrated teacher demonstration of the dance performed at bronze, silver, and gold levels, followed by beginning level instruction. An inspiring 45-min. dance show will begin at 4pm (suggested minimum donation $5). No cost beginning level dance classes include Rumba (2 pm), Foxtrot (2:30 pm), Night Club Two-Step (3 pm), East Coast Swing (3:30 pm), Waltz (5 pm) and Tango (5:30 pm). There is no donation required to participate in the dance classes; however, participants who donate any amount will be given a certificate for a free 45-minute introduction to the Ballroom of Reno, including a 30-minute private dance lesson.
